Now I know why Apple stock is so high. I lost my cord and just needed to be able to power my MacBook. This costs $ 80 !! And all it is is the cord. Apple is obviously the choice of rich people in media. If you want to spend $ 20 on a cord, and not $ 80, buy a Dell. Hey, I am an Apple fan, but these prices are sheer greed. The cord works fine. But that is like saying, a Ferrari drives well.

The seller made a mistake and sent me instead a 60W charger but he refunded the money when I shipped the item back to him. I ended up wasting some money (return postage fee) and time with the whole operation.

Apple never disappoints with their products. This adapter is identical to the ones shipped with macbook pros – always nice to have an extra one around the house, or to be able to get a replacement at a reasonable price when your friend steals yours!
not much else to say – apple & amazon kick butt. enjoy!

This product is listed as new but it is definitely not. Other reviewers seem to have noticed this as well. I got the power adapter and it was dirty and not in the original packaging. Also, the LED light would remain on after I unplugged it from my computer. I doubt this was even refurbished, probably just bought used and repackaged. Do not buy this, you won’t get what you pay for. For this amount of money and quality of product you’re better off buying from Apple and getting a 1 year warranty.

I purchased this item and within a week it quit working. It came out-of-box, not packaged in Apple packaging and did not appear to be brand new, but I went ahead and used it for a few days until it flat out quit on me. I will order directly from Apple in the future, you apparently get what you pay for here!
