I just received my computer. I wanted a basic computer and that’s what I got. The CD drive does not work at all. I was hoping to be able to burn some CD’s or at least use the drive for viewing movies, SIMS, etc., but it does not recognize any CD’s that I put in.
Other than that so far it’s working fine. I was under the impression also that Microsoft Office would be included but it’s not. OpenOffice is what is included and I’ve never used it and had to purchase Microsoft Office.

Was easy to install. just needed it for email and light web surfing. i use it everyday.works great. had to buy extra anitvirus software but it was worth it. will but extra memory if ever needed in the future.

This Dell Super Fast Optiplex computer is nice. It runs well and it was easy to hook up myself. The one thing that confuses me is the Big 40 GB Hard drive. The word Big is what I don’t get. It is small. I don ‘t know how much it holds. The LCD Flat Panel Monitor is great. The mouse is nice the keyboard is nice. The speakers are not very expensive. They sound rough, cracky. I paid for what I got. It was not too expensive and it works and I am happy with it. I hope to someday get a bigger Hard Drive.

Price was good for the product, but Dell has a quality problem with motherboards over the past few years, and a bigger problem with tech support and the techs they send out for the warranty issues. I have purchased no less than 10 Dells over the past 6 years for business and home and used to recommend them to everyone, but no more. I will never own another Dell and advise everyone else to steer clear of them as well.

I got one of these Dell’s from the seller A Computer For Everybody. At first I was concerned with the other review but after reading the sellers feedback from other buyers, I decided to go for it. It arrived fast and worked right out of the box. I had a question about the restore CD and Customer Service was quick and answered my question. I would definitely recommend this computer to a friend.
