am not able to install it – no documentation / drivers etc. Very Poor experience.

Having been buying reliable 1.5TB 7200 RPM drives with 32MB buffers for under $100 recently, it’s difficult to justify paying an extra $240 for 500MB and 32MB more. Just add a separate 500 MB unit if you really need the space.

The hard drive is fine. But I do not know its status of brand new or a returned item. When I received it, it did not come with the original package. The warranty paper was not included. The worst part was the anti-static bag not vacuum sealed. The drive seems working fine. In the future, I will not buy PC components from Amazon.

The drive works good. My only complaint is that you said there was free shipping and when I selected that and placed the order it said it would ship in three and 1/2 weeks. I then cancelled the order and placed a new order paying for 2day shipping. Free shipping should ship within three or for days not weeks.
